Saturday morning shows

Does anybody remember the countless times, when you wake up at 6:00 A.M. on a Saturday to watch your favorites shows? If you had a vcr and/or tivo you could watch the shows again and again and again. Now, are there any Saturday morning shows worth waking up for? Do you think that the youngest generation is watching the morning shows? The FoxBox or 4kidsTv had some shows like Ultimate Muscle, which I would love to get the dvds for. Some other shows like Sonic X and F-Zero.

On the KidsWB, They had Pokemon(so many seasons)Xiaolin Showdown,Spider Riders, Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island and many others. At first I found Coconut Fred (him and the show) to be a bit nutty, but as time went on I found myself enjoying it. Viewtiful Joe, All I have to say is this Henshin a GO-GO Baby!!!

I do remember that channel 26 - ABC, I think had some shows. The house of mouse. Mickey mouse the owner of a disney club. Also cartoon network their shows but for most of life I didn’t have cable. I stuck with 4, 6, 8, 12, 32, 38, 54, and don’t remember the rest.

I have a lot of tapes that has a mix of shows from 8 and 38. Trying to figure out how to get them to a dvd or cd.

So, Does anybody have suggestion for Saturday morning shows? It could be anime, cartoons, and/or something interesting. Yes, now I do have cable.

TOM…. i love you man

Toonami, Midnight Run, Miguzi, and Adult Swim. I loved the way they had it set up. These four things on one channel. Why do the good things come to end so early? We miss you TOM.

Boktai 2 - The sun is in your hands

Strange to write about a game for my first post but I am wired weirdly.

At first, I thought the game looked good but back when it first came out but I didn’t have the money to buy it. By chance or God’s grace, my friend let me borrow his copy with a game boy micro. After developing a liking for it, I was enjoying myself with that game. When I solarsmith I like to play the Iron Man theme. It’s just something about swordsmithing and the Iron Man that I really like. I completed the game and after a while my friend wants to know where is his game. So I return the game to him. I haven’t seen it since. Now, I am on the hunt for it via online and/or other retailers.

To be possibly continued…

Apple and Robot Artbook Collections

The Apple artbooks consist of Korean artists ranging from character designers for online games, manga, and anime to illustrators for short stories. It is a fine mix of artworks and stories. They cost about $34.95 for each volume at some places but I bet you can find some of them for cheaper. Also, I consider Apple to be a counter part to the Robot artbook collection. The Robot collection focuses more on short stories but still has very gook illustrations. Robot artbook consist of Japanese artists. They are published by different companies. Apple being published by Udon Entertainment. The same company that prints art collections for Street Fighter and Mega Man.

Robot is published by Digital Manga Publishing for the first three volumes. Then the following ones was published by Udon Entertainment.

Both Collections are still being continued Apple Volume 4 I think is coming out near the end of this month. So get out there and check them out. As for me, I own them and the only one I am missing is Robot Volume 3 but that is going to change very soon.

Newtype USA Magazine

I miss you! When are you coming back? I know it is not very likely but hope for the future. Newtype was one of the best multimedia magazines for people who like and want to get into anime, manga, and much more.
